BW Premier Collection CHC Continental is an excellent choice for a stay in Venice. The staff is exceptionally polite and welcoming, ensuring a pleasant experience. The hotel is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from the train station, making arrivals and departures hassle-free. The on-site restaurant offers quality dining, and the entire property is well-maintained and clean. If you're planning to visit landmarks like the Doge’s Palace and St. Mark’s Square, consider adding at least 10 extra minutes to the estimated walking time on Google Maps, as navigating through Venice’s winding streets can take longer than expected.

location: close to the station and on the grand canal. I enjoyed my stay so much, I extended the days. But the staff was the outstanding part of my stay. After the first room did not work for me they changed my room and even relocated my luggage! I wanted a hotel with an option of a restaurant. After 10 hrs enjoying Venice often I do not enjoy going out again to find a restaurant. And a restaurant that did not question that you were eating solo! Bravo!

Location was awesome.. everything well within walking distance. Easy walk to the train station.

Room was spacious and bed was super comfortable. Complimentary water was provided and location was perfect being so close to the train station and water transport. Breakfast was also on a picturesque terrace or could be seated inside if weather was not suitable. There was a huge variety available in the buffet breakfast.

Location of hotel was excellent, a short level walk (over cobbled lanes) to the shops, eateries and transport - the Santa Lucia train station and the public Water Bus stops. There are various ways to get in from the airport but from Marco Polo airport we tried out a Water Taxi which was a private taxi boat that took us directly to the jetty right in front of the hotel. If you are coming or going to other cities via the fast train this it is very convenient hotel to stay in. You can book your tickets at the train station office with helpful staff. This hotel is modern and the room was clean with lovely modern decor though it was compact. There was 1 step up to the Ensuite which had a vanity with LED mirror and walk-in shower. The bed was comfortable and I liked the parquetry floors. Glad we asked for a room with easy access via a lift as we saw another family coming down the stairs with their big luggage. Room windows could be opened to look out to the courtyard in between the buildings and had a pleasant side water view to the canal. We had breakfast with our stay and this was lovely and you can choose to sit in the outdoor terrace area right next to the main canal and watch the water "traffic" go past. I would highly recommend if you are a first time visitor to arrive in Venice during the day time as it would be challenging to move around if you had your hands full with your luggage lugging them up and over bridges and cobbled stone lanes with no roads but canals in the night light. The Water Buses are the most popular mode of transport on the canals but they can be quite packed. Just outside the train station there are porters who, with a fee, can help you put your luggage on their luggage carts and take them to your hotel within a reasonable distance, but not sure what times they are available till.
